A Case of Immature Teratoma of the Ovary Treated with BEP Regimen

Abstract

|
The immature teratoma is a type of malignant germ cell tumor, comprising less that 1% of ovarian tumors and 20% of malignant germ cell tumors. It has a specific age incidence, occurring most commonly in the first two decades of life and being
almost
none after menopause.
We had experienced a case of the immature teratoma of 34 year old woman who was treated by operation and postoperative adjucvant chemotherapy(BEP regimen).
We report this case with a review of the concerned literatures.
